I am writing this to hopefully find anyone else who is experiencing similar issues or concerns on a 2010 Ford Taurus.
The Issue – A "Raw Gasoline Smell" or sometimes a sulfuric type of fumes like a match after being lit was evident in the drivers/passenger cabin from day one (1) immediately after filling up the fuel tank for the first time with gasoline. I drove the vehicle only a few days when the vehicle immediatly lost power and the “Wrench Light” illuminated on the dashboard setting the vehicle to an automatic “Limp Mode” or reseved power. The persistant Raw Gasoline Smell became more pronounced and evident. I have made countless attempts to try and resolve the vehicle issues with the dealership service department and directly through the manufacture The Ford Motor Company without any resolution to the problem. I have stressed my health and safety concerns while driving the vehicle with foul fumes entering the drivers/passenger cabin with family and friends being present both the Dealership and Ford Motor Company are not commenting on the the potential health or safety hazards.
