I just purchased my first Taurus, a 2000 SE. I noticed my fuel gauge is not accurate, it shows full most of the time, and sometimes when it is full it is stuck on empty. I did some research and found out that this a common problem on FFV Taurus's, and i guess there is a module behind the radio that needs to be replaced. Is this the same for SE's? Or would i need to change the fuel pump? This morning when i went to start the car i had to press on the gas pedal......also the car smells like gas inside....especially noticable when i go into the house and come back out into the garage. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
