2002 taurus oil pressure light

Hey folks,

I got a 2002 taurus and when I drive it for a while and it heats up the oil pressure lights come on when i pull up to a stop sign or stop. But when I move it goes off again. Wen out today and it never came on assuming that it is because that she wasnt ran for a long time. Checked the oil and all is good. Weak oil pump I wonder.

Could be a weak oil pump. I'd also check that it has the correct oil filter & the recomended grade of oil.
