Are there many aftermarket bulbs available in the Taurus size, 9007? I would like to know what the best bulb to use would be.
I just replaced the bulbs in my mothers '00 Taurus sedan with a set of Silverstars and they seem a little better than the OEM bulbs, but they are still inferior IMHO to a lot of factory headlights offered in other makes/models. These lights should really have separate high/low beam bulbs. The best halogen lights I've had on any of my past cars was an '07 Subaru with projector low beams and reflector high beams, is there anything like that available as a whole assembly available in the aftermarket for these vehicles. The best OEM lights I've used are on my current car but HID without a proper assembly would just be a waste of money, I would still need new assemblies and an HID kit so $$$$.

for those that dont know the car this is the kind of setup I want to get for the Taurus, these are what my subaru had.
